Heritage Beef Classic Show

Just returned from the 250th Anniversary Show of the Hants Co Exhibition in Windsor, Nova Scotia.  With 240 head of cattle it was very well attended by producers and spectators and very well organized by Bob Best, Victor Oulton, Gary Dill and others. We were so pleased that Gary Dill was able to attend the show on the weekend as we have know him for many years and has been in poor health.  Our sympathy to Gary's family as he passed away on Monday following the show.
Lance Leachman was the judge for all breeds for the weekend.  We exhibited 9 head at the show,  6 Angus and 3 Simmentals for Stephen & Jennie as they were at a sale in Quebec. Their Simmental yearling heifer was Reserve Grand Champion as well as Reserve Supreme overall in the show and their 2 year old pair won their class.
In the Angus show we exhibited Champion and Reserve Bulls with our SAV Cinch calves and JEM Cinch 2c was 3rd in the Supreme Bull Class.  In the female class we had 1st and 2nd heifer calves, Junior Champion, 2nd yearling heifer and Champion Female with our 2 year old pair.  She went on to become Supreme Champion of the show.  The Show was a class act  and one that should have lots of future as it was announced it will be back bigger and better in 2016.
Heading to Victoriaville, Quebec next weekend for our final show of the year.  Looking forward to meeting lots of people there.
