We have some nice Angus calves arriving now- this year sired by Bismark, Old Post, and Net Worth.  Crossbred calves born  sired by Sunseeker and our own  X -bull look real good too.  Great weather so far this winter for calving.  Working on steers for the Easter Beef Show to be held mid March in Charlottetown- sired by Sunseeker, Highliner and our X-bred bull- all steers we bred and raised. Looking forward to  the show and sale and the spring season ahead

Victoriaville , Quebec show

by JEM Farms on 10/11/11
Arrived back home from Quebec yesterday following a very successful weekend show.  Thanks to exhibitors and visitors for the warm welcome and hospitality.  We exhibited the Champion Angus heifer calf ( Bismark), while Stephen & Jennie exhibited the Senior Champion Angus Female  with her Feb bull calf that was sold privately before the show.  As well they placed 1st and 2nd with their yearling Simmental heifers.
It was a great livestock show and thanks to everyone for the kind comments on our show string.  Congrats also to the other Maritime exhibitors on their fine showing and sales- Gaunce's, Pauley's, Welch's,  & numerous NB Hereford breeders.  We look forward to attending  the show next fall
