OHW Angus Show

A large display of Angus cattle and lots of spectators from throughout the Maritimes at OHW  show in Charlottetown, PEI. These are some of the cattle we exhibited and the results.

JEM Pioneer 12A was Champion Bull . He is sired by Pioneer and out of Bismark dam.
We have bred some heifers  to him this year.  Also exhibited  Reserve Champion Bull
with  1st place Net Worth calf and had 2nd place Sitz Upward bull calf.
These bull calves are for sale.

Reserve Senior Champion  JEM Classy Lady 22w and JEM Upward 45B- This 5 year old cow is sired by Figure 8 Angus Tom Boy.  This is her first show ever as we broke her this summer -great disposition and beautiful uddered cow.  Her calf is sired by Sitz Upwards and was 2nd in bull calf class.

Its a family event at cattle shows for us. From left Joanne, Ernie, Julie, Meredith, Jennie, & Stephen.  Julie had first place Breeders Herd and won Premier Breeder this year.  It was also 3 month old Meredith's first cattle show event.  Stephen and Jennie  won Supreme Champion Female of the show with their Simmental pair and bred the Supreme Champion Simmental Bull
